Rear-Impact Collisions: Make sure there's sufficient space between you and the vehicle in front of you and scan the surroundings to look for lights or any other reason that may cause them to stop. If the person behind you is driving too close, find a place where it's safe for you to pull over and let them pass by.

Side-Impact Collisions: It pays to be vigilant when you're approaching an intersection, in a parking lot find yourself anywhere that vehicles are driving in various directions. Make sure to adapt your driving style to the outside conditions.

Collisions with Animals: Approach posted animal crossings with caution and try slow down when you're in wildlife-friendly areas.

Running Off-Road:Keep your eyes on the road ahead, stick to the posted speed limit, and don't get behind the wheel if you're either tired or under the influence. You'll be a lot less likely to lose control of your vehicle and wind up careening off the road.
