What's New: Differences between the 2025 & 2026 Ford Escape
The 2026 model year may be the last for the Escape in its current form, as the automaker reported plans to retool its Louisville Assembly Plant for EV manufacturing starting in December 2025. As such, the Escape doesn't make many changes to its formula. However, the 2.5-liter hybrid powertrain will drop the FWD option and be AWD only.
