Ford Escape Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid

The Ford Escape epitomizes a great compact crossover, with comfortable and versatile accommodations, high-tech features, and convenient space requirements. Standard in the Escape Titanium and available for SE and SEL trims is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid with 200 horsepower and an EPA-estimated 41 mpg combined. If you're seeking more surefooted all-weather control, you can equip AWD while still achieving an impressive EPA rating of 40 mpg combined.

Are you interested in trying out the EV lifestyle but aren't sure about fully committing to battery power? Consider the Ford Escape Plug-in Hybrid. It uses the same 2.5-liter Atkinson-cycle engine as the Escape Hybrid but with a larger electric powertrain producing a combined 221 horsepower. A 14.4-kWh battery helps the Escape PHEV achieve an EPA-rated 105 miles-per-gallon equivalent (MPGe) and 37 miles of electric-only range. Escape PHEV models can fully charge overnight in approximately 10-11 hours using a standard 110-volt household outlet. Or you can use home or public Level 2 (240-volt) equipment to charge the battery in ~3.5 hours.

Ford Explorer Hybrid

Do you need a larger vehicle with extra space and seatbelts for your Portales family but want better efficiency than the typical family-mover? Ford Explorer Limited and Platinum models can be optioned with a 3.3-liter hybrid V-6 powertrain with 318 horsepower and an EPA-estimated 27 mpg combined (or 26 mpg with AWD).

Explorer Hybrid models are also generously equipped with standard features like leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, a 360-degree camera system, and adaptive cruise control.
